So it goes without saying that the site and the blog have been a bit of a wasteland for about a month and a half. It sucks, I know. That being said, a LOT has happened within that span of time that absolutely needed to occur in order to pave the way for more content on the page. Continue Reading …

Familiar Faces (Even If One Is A Robot)
If you couldn’t tell by the lack of content and episodes on the site lately, it’s been a busy few weeks in the world of your friendly neighborhood systems administrator. Between my actual job and finishing my degree, free time is a precious commodity. However, I find myself in something of a rut. Whenever I actually GET free time, I can’t figure out what I want to do with it. I find myself aimlessly bouncing from YouTube video to YouTube video and scrolling through my social networking feeds. Never really contributing, mind you, just lurking, as though all of my friends are having a picnic and rather than take part in the merriment I’m choosing to watch from behind a tree. I can’t explain it, but as I’ve become increasingly aware of it, I’ve thought of ways to overcome it, and yesterday I took the steps necessary to do so. I forced myself to do something I enjoy. Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
Lots to talk about! First off, we have not one, but TWO brand new shows on the Land of Bunnies Network that we’re all super proud to bring to you guys!
First one is Degeneration JAX, a blog page and podcast all about the wide and wild world of professional wrestling! Hosted by LoB co-hosts Chris and Jacob with a new addition, Katie Latronico! Check it out at http://degenerationjax.com! Also available on iTunes and Stitcher!
The second addition to the network is a new segment brought to you by the King of Hugs Jacob Plicque called Fuck Yeah Fridays! In a world where negativity is the prominent talking point, Jacob does his damndest every Friday to promote positivity and just generally give a shout-out to the things worth saying, “Fuck yeah!” about that we so often forget! Check out the first episode, live now, on the navigation bar at the top of the page!
Speaking of, second major change: huge layout transitions! In setting up the Degeneration JAX page I stumbled upon some design changes that I’ve rolled out and implemented on the main page with many, many more to come as I transition out of school and back into the podcasting world!
We hope you guys really like all the exciting and wonderful changes and content we’re bringing! Feel free to leave us feedback on the Facebook page and the Twitter feed (now prominently displayed in the sidebar)! Enjoy, and as always, #keephopealive!

July Movie Mini-Reviews!
Hey kids,
So, I wanted to write a few things down since it’s been a few weeks since we’ve gotten to record. I believe this is called “blogging.” Never heard of it. Adulting is for the birds, especially when it comes to podcast scheduling. Speaking of birds……
I watched Jurassic World (as did most everyone on the planet) and I was actualy pleasantly surprised. Significantly better than I expected, considering I had more interest in watching water boil than seeing that film. Chris Pratt was a paint by numbers action guy, but decent enough. Bryce Dallas Howard was your typical career obsessed damsel in distress. The two kids were you’re typical kids who’s parents should be getting divorced. Visual effects were good. The military sub-plot was pretty thin. Oh well. It’s making a gazillion dollars and I’m sure they’ll do another one.
I also watched Terminator: Genisys. Pretty much made no sense, but it was also better than I expected, considering I’d rather watch Jurassic World than see that film. If you don’t care at all about T1 or T2, or if you are just in for turning your chip off and watching a fun action flick, this might work for you. Arnie vs Arnie was fun to see. Khalessi was fair enough (no dragons though) and that dude from the last Die Hard flick… I’m not even gonna finish typing that.
That’s about it for now kids. I’m gonna go back to re-watching Parks and Rec for the 5th time. Make sure you submit your responses to Franko’s Question of the Week to mike@landofbunnies.com. Feel free to comment on this post and share your thoughts as well. This new “blogging” thing might be something we all three keep doing in the future, if you’re all hungry for it. Hooray for gay marriage! Talk to you all soon. #keephopealive
